GATX Rail Europe today announced that Mr. Jörg Nowaczyk joins the company as the Chief Commercial Officer. Mr. Nowaczyk has served in numerous leadership roles throughout his career in the rail logistics business, which includes fifteen years at TX Logistik AG, a company of the Mercitalia Group, where he led the intermodal business before taking on the role of Managing Director at Rail Cargo Carrier Germany for the past three years. As Managing Director, he was responsible for the realization of Cargo Carrier’s growth strategy, leading cross-cultural negotiations and international sales teams.

Johann Feindert, CEO of GATX Rail Europe, stated, “I am delighted that Mr. Nowaczyk is going to lead GATX Rail Europe’s commercial teams and activities. His strong international background in rail and intermodal logistics together with his deep understanding for all types of transportation needs will play an important role in realizing our growth targets and freight market expansion goals.
