To support our growing organisation we are currently looking for 

IT Operations Manager Europe

Your main responsibilities:

• Manage IT Operations function (2 teams – IT Infrastructure and Service Desk).
• Lead IT professionals and provide guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting their goals and objectives.
• Coordinate and direct the development and implementation of IT policies, standards, guidelines, and other requirements needed to ensure IT operational efficiency.
• Manage the IT Operations budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with strategic objectives.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies and systems that improve IT infrastructure and support the organization's business goals.
• Ensure the delivery of IT services according to business needs.
• Manage relationships with third-party service providers.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize downtime and data loss.
• Maintain close cooperation with IT Infrastructure team at GATX Global.

You are a good fit if you have:

• Degree in Information Technology discipline, master's degree preferred.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in similar role.

• Previous experience working in an IT infrastructure team.

• People management skills and experience, ideally in geographically distributed teams.

• Technical proficiency and knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, and systems to effectively manage and troubleshoot issues.

• Advanced practical knowledge of ITIL, Service Delivery and customer support; relevant certification such as ITIL would be an asset.

• Fluency in Polish and English.

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Ability to understand business goals and to interact with all levels of management.

• High degree of initiative, dependability, and ability to work with little supervision.

• Problem-solving attitude.
