For the first time, the universal forwarder of the Rail Cargo Group, Rail Cargo Logistics Germany and GATX Rail Europe have signed a deal for FACCNS railcars.

For the first time, the universal forwarder of the Rail Cargo Group, Rail Cargo Logistics Germany and GATX Rail Europe have signed a deal for FACCNS railcars. Following the handover of the railcars in Nordhausen, Germany, the Rail Cargo Group is now able to offer even better, custom rail logistics solutions to its customers in Germany.

The FACCNS railcars will be used to transport aggregates like gravel for infrastructure projects. “With a volume of 49 cubic meters and a maximum payload of 68.5 tonnes per railcar, these young railcars are an important element for the realization of such projects. We were impressed with the technical aspects of GATX’s railcars and their stellar service offer”, says Thomas Busche, Key-Account-Manager at Rail Cargo Logistics Germany.
