We are proud to unveil our latest addition to our 28,000+ railcar fleet – the new Faccns railcars in lime green. These new Faccns railcars are shorter in length, measuring 11.58 meters over buffers, and have a reduced tare weight of 20.5 tons. The compact design translates into significant advantages for rail transport, allowing more products to be efficiently moved with a single locomotive. With optimized box capacity of 48 m³ and no limitation of operation within the G1 profile, the Faccns railcars provide a versatile and reliable solution for a wide range of cargo.

Faccns are easy to operate
One of the features of the Faccns railcars is the ease of operation. The design incorporates a user-friendly system for unloading, with flaps that can be pneumatically controlled via buttons from ground level or a platform. Unlike traditional levers, this approach ensures easy, fast, and safe operation. Additionally, the Faccns railcars are equipped with the CFCB compact brake system, known for its reliability and performance. With over 400 Faccns cars already in operation within GATX’s fleet, the proven car concept reinforces the reliability and trustworthiness of these railcars.
