40 percent more space; Much brighter and more comfortable; Most modern central office will be open as soon as COVID restrictions are lifted.
More than 70 GRE employees who serve customers throughout Poland and Europe will move into a central office location with 40% extra space.
Poland is Europe’s second largest railway market after Germany, with GRE being the largest private provider of railcars, especially in the area of tank railcars. Poland remains a particularly important market for GRE as its local workshops conduct more than 2,000 revisions and assemble up to 500 new railcars annually. Johann Feindert, CEO of GRE, on the strategic importance for Poland in Europe: “With the connection of the Silk Road, Poland will become an increasingly important rail transport market for Europe. GRE is a strong partner for this initiative.”
Colorful and state-of-the-art interiors will welcome the teams to brainstorm in comfortable meeting rooms, mingle in spacious break-out areas and work individually in one-person booths. During a recent, coordinated move, all 70 employees packed their belongings. The new office in central Warsaw is now ready to be filled with life and laughter (as soon as COVID restrictions are lifted).
Anna Błachowska, project manager at GRE in Poland: “I am very happy that despite delays resulting from COVID-19, we have successfully completed our move with such great feedback from everyone who has seen our new office already. This was an appreciable effort possible thanks to effective organization and proper communication among the entire Warsaw team.”
Johann Feindert added: “While it’s a challenging year for the global economy, Poland continues to be a tremendously important market for our customers, hence, also for us at GRE. Continuing to pursue this office move despite a global health and economic crisis is a strong sign to our partners: we will continue to invest where it benefits our customers.“
