Over the years, GATX Rail Europe has grown and earned its place among the leading railcar lessors in Europe. Always striving to go the extra mile to succeed and achieve its goals, our company has collaborated with NRW Sportstiftung, a sponsorship program that supports flourishing athletes as they compete and win with the same spirit of excellence in both their studies and careers.
Today, we are proud to support the program’s latest arrivals: pro-hockey player Amelie and pro-climber Max.
Amelie Cyrulies has proven to be quite the juggernaut in a male-dominated sport. She has resiliently climbed the hockey world’s echelons and now plays for the German Kölner EC team in the Frauen-Bundesliga (W) League. Just as GATX Rail Europe advanced in the rail sector, Amelie progressed forward in sports and her studies with headstrong commitment. She said that she would love to join our company’s summer internship program. Currently, Amelie is pursuing her studies in Production & Logistics and Max Sports Management & Sports Communication in Cologne.
Max Prinz is a true force to be reckoned with on climbing competitions. His achievements have attracted international attention, drawing a massive crowd of over twelve thousand followers on Instagram. Hard work and relentless discipline are his main principles of success. And Max is the image of both victory and dedication. He moved to Cologne last year for his studies and since has continued to participate in training and internationally renowned competitions, such as the Ninja Warrior, where elite athletes battle formidable obstacles. He is always ready to show off his skills in a “climb-off” if anyone is interested.
We are always happy to support young talents in the next step of their athletic and professional endeavors. Are you up for the challenge? Visit us at gatx.eu/career.
